VGC1- Quest for Glory

I've played a lot of video games in my day, enough to make it impossible to count. So what I wanna do is paint some illustrations featuring my all time favorite games, and maybe give a little description and a recommendation that you all get your hands on the game, if you're into that kind of thing. So without further ado, here's the first in my video game classics series.

Here's my interpretation of the World Tree from the Quest for Glory series. Its an oldschool adventure series, with a huge twist in that it features realtime combat and rpg elements as well as the ability to choose between 3 character classes and carry your character over to the next game in the series. The story is always the same, but each class has a unique way of accomplishing every puzzle and reaching the end. You play as a nameless adventurer who, quite simply, wants to be a hero. So you travel the world in search of places in peril and save the day. It has a very basic story, but it has brilliant characters, beautiful locations and unique gameplay.
Since the series is so old, the first 3 games are now abandonware, meaning they're legally available for download at sites like abandonia.com
